Three Things: The Lovers Edition, II
Wren gets hitched this Saturday! In honor of the bride and groom, let’s write some words for lovers this week.
P.S. You have until tomorrow to apply for the open editorial positions here at Hazel & Wren!

My (and Wren’s) great-great-great grandpa’s name was Levi, and he was the owner of a beard. An insane beard. One which he had for his entire adult life. This week, that beard is our prompt because, surely, if you stare at it long enough, it will begin to speak to you.
Behold: The Beard.
Three Things: A Day on the Farm Edition
Time for some more found photographs. This week, I’ve collected three old photos that each caught my eye thanks to a slight air of mystery about it. Let’s imagine they all were taken on the same farm, on the same day. Care to explain how all of this happened in one day? Go ahead, write the story.
I happen upon old photographs a lot, whether they’re old family photos, photos I come across in my work, or stacks of photos I flip through at flea markets. I enjoy them. I enjoy studying them, imagining what had happened just before the shutter clicked, and what happened after.
Let’s do another “pocket” edition, except this time all three items in the pocket are photographs. Your character carries the following three photos in his or her back pocket everyday. Why? Well now, that’s for you to decide.
