Three Things: Dream Edition II

2011 October 24

I had no tigers in my dreams last night (unfortunately), but it feels about time for another surreal edition. This week I’ve enlisted the help of three heavy-hitters in the contemporary photography world: Robert and Shana ParkeHarrison, Rodney Smith, and Sally Mann. Three scenes just begging for you to answer the question, “And then what happened?”

Holy crap! These are friggin beautiful. I think I might have to write a little story about a bunch of Eduardians on a steam-powered Starship, on a terra-forming mission to Mars. Unrolling the land like a carpet, and then pausing for tea. I might do so this afternoon.

Aren’t they though?! Be sure to check out the ParkeHarrison website, the entire “Architect’s Brother” series is jaw-dropping. But maybe check it out after you write your story. Otherwise the creative idea overload might just explode your brain.
