…Aaand We’re Back!

Greetings, friends. Over the weekend, the Hazel & Wren website was hacked, as you may have noticed if you tried to visit in the last 48 hours. We’ve been working frantically ever since we discovered it on Saturday night, and it looks like we’re finally ready to get back online. There are a few things here and there that we are still restoring, so if you notice a few things missing yet, please forgive us.

As far as we can tell, this wasn’t a specific “Let’s-get-Hazel-and-Wren” attack (unless one of you has something to tell us, ahem?), it was more likely a (very) malicious bot that attacks anything it can find. We can only conclude that the bot went away armed with some good book recommendations, and the knowledge that there’s a Harry Potter discussion this Tuesday night at Books and Bars as well as a handful of submission deadlines looming on Friday, since there are no credit card numbers here for it to steal. Dear bot, we hope you enjoyed the visit. Please never come back.

As you may imagine, this latest development threw a bit of a wrench in this week’s Three Things (but fear not, it will return next week).
