Join Kirk House Publishers and Greta Oglesby as they launch Greta’s new memoir, entitled Mama ‘N Nem: Handprints on My Life, at the Guthrie Theater on Saturday, May 12, from 2:00 to 4:30 in the afternoon. There will be readings, refreshments and books will be available for sale. This also coincides with the first Mill City Farmers Market of the season. A perfect way to open up Mother’s Day weekend!
The event will be held in rear of the Sea Change restaurant, which can be entered through the southwest corner street door, and is free and open to the public. Greta will be appearing in the production “The Amen Corner” in May, which opens that weekend.
Mama ‘n Nem is a series of vignettes that tell of Greta’s family and their influence on her life. The stories sing just like this award-winning actress: they sing of life, they sing of faith, and they sing of family.
