This sounds like a collection that I need to pick up!

Whenever I read a collection of poetry or short stories I tend to read it slowly and read one at a time. It usually takes me awhile. I feel like I need the time to digest each of the poems/stories on its own. I try to read about one every few days, though, so that I don't miss out on how they all connect. Recently, though, I started reading Whorled by Ed Bok Lee. I pulled it out to read one poem during a few free minutes that I had at a family reunion and ended up reading the entire thing in one sitting. I know I'll go back to read it again, but this collection just sucked me in.
